Exceptional service from the front desk. The staff was friendly and genuinely helpful. Room? Clean, spacious, and quiet—perfect for relaxation. Breakfast had a good variety, though the eggs and sausage gravy could use improvement. Fresh fruit selection fell short. Loved the private terrace overlooking the river—a fabulous spot to unwind. The heating system was quieter than most hotels, contributing to a restful stay. Convenient underground parking and excellent accessibility to town made exploring easy. Minor annoyance with unreliable hot water was handled promptly, but remains a concern. a delightful retreat with just a few areas for enhancement. Would recommend to friends and family without hesitation. Will return.

I was really disappointed with the room’s overall vibe. The bathroom needed more grab bars for safety, and the shower was cramped. It felt outdated, and the constant hum from the fan drove me crazy while I tried to relax.

Breakfast was a highlight, with Marcy’s attentiveness truly enhancing the experience. the king room with a river view fell short; it lacked a proper window and the mattress needed updating. Fortunately, amenities like the garden tub and 24/7 coffee made up for some shortcomings. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. A minor downside was the unclean area near the parking lot elevators, which felt like a missed detail in an otherwise lovely establishment. Would return for the charm and comfort!

The hotel sits right by the river, providing a peaceful atmosphere while being just a few steps away from the lively Main Street area filled with charming shops and delicious restaurants, like Honey B's Eatery and the Frankenmuth Brewery, which are less than a 5-minute walk away; I loved enjoying free drinks and snacks on the spacious patio while listening to live music, and the comfortable room equipped with all the necessary amenities made for a delightful stay, although I did notice that the lobby sofas could use a good vacuuming here and there.

Loved the view of the river from our room! Super clean and comfy with awesome staff. The morning breakfast was delish, and we really enjoyed the evening reception with free drinks and snacks. Walking distance to shops and restaurants was a bonus. The parking garage was a bit tricky for bigger vehicles, tho.

Staying at this gem of a spot in Frankenmuth felt like stepping into a charming fairy tale town filled with cozy horse, drawn carriage rides, gushing water boats, and mouthwatering German culinary delights. Our family delighted in hearty chicken dinners, sweet traditional desserts, and enchanting riverboat cruises on the Cass River.
My kids wished for more kid, friendly entertainment options.

Room 104 was exceptionally clean and quiet, offering one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time. The bed was comfortable, but the balcony setup limited natural light. Only a door separated us from the outside; the curtains obstructed the view. It was simply too cold to open the door, especially when it snowed. The narrow upholstered chair and desk chair could use an upgrade. The ice machine was out of order, which was inconvenient. the room's ambiance was pleasant, but improvements could enhance the experience.

Had a blast during xmas here! Loved the free drinks and snacks between 5, 7pm, ideal for winding down. Excellent hot breakfast with a variety of options, including make your own waffles. Prime location within walking distance to downtown attractions and a picturesque balcony overlooking the river. The under, hotel parking was a plus, ensuring our car stayed cool and snow, free. Friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home.
Some facilities showed signs of wear, like the cracked garden tub that needed maintenance. An update to these areas would elevate the overall experience.

The customer service at check-in was top-notch. Shoutout to David for being so friendly and helpful. The river view balcony in our room was a definite highlight. Watching the paddle boat tour go by was a fun touch. The happy hour with wine, Pilsner, and charcuterie on the veranda overlooking the river was a relaxing way to unwind. Free continental breakfast with a good variety of options. Jennie kept things running smoothly. The mattress in our room was definitely showing its age. It felt worn down and could use a replacement.

From chilling on horse-drawn carriage rides to feasting on delish German foods, it was lit! We even got pumped on those wild geysers! Total vibes for a squad looking for a hype vacay.
Wish they cranked up the party scene for us young guns. More bumping music and youthful activities would've been fire!

Free Deluxe Hot Breakfast Buffet was fab, felt like royalty among Marv's memorabilia. Main Street Parade was a delight. Staff ready to pamper me. The charming Bavarian Belle Riverboat Tours were a lovely historical escape.
The dusty room made me feel like I stepped back in time.

During my stay at the hotel, I had a wonderful time sitting on the back patio and meeting new and interesting people. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making my experience at Marv Herzog Hotel truly memorable. The centrally located hotel and excellent breakfast made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's comfortable beds and beautifully decorated rooms made me feel right at home. I'll recommend this hotel.

I chose Marv Herzog for its proximity to Heritage Park. The warm, friendly service from the staff pleasantly surprised me. The Bavarian food fest was delightful with a great selection of German cuisine and drinks.

The staff at the front desk and the breakfast bar were friendly and attentive. Our room was clean, quiet, and had a comfortable bed. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance of stores and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the welcome reception with complimentary drinks and snacks. Great value for a king room!
The breakfast offerings could have been better, with some items running out quickly and the sausage looking a bit off.

marv herzog was the complete package. the spacious room and whirlpool tub were delightful, especially overlooking the river. we enjoyed cocktails and snacks each evening and a wonderful breakfast in the morning. the staff is exceptionally friendly and so polite. the lobby was a relaxing place to sit and read the paper. the excellent location provided a wonderful view of the river, with a nice happy hour featuring complimentary wine and beer.
Can't fault the property in any way. 😊

the room was clean and comfy - right on the river. we loved being able to walk to shops and restaurants. the staff were super friendly and we got free drinks and snacks in the evenings. the breakfast was a nice bonus too.
